Laura’s Personal Bio: 

 Growing up on a cattle feedlot in the small rural town of Sterling, Colorado, Laura claims she had “no choice but to be a tomboy”.  With her closest neighbor over one mile away, most of her time was spent outdoors with her older brother, Jerry.   

Like most small-town kids, sports were a major part of Laura’s upbringing.  Varsity volleyball and tennis partnered with a competitive dance team kept her schedule very busy.  Laura turned down several volleyball scholarships to go to college near her family and friends at Colorado State University where she focused on her training to become a television host.  While pursuing her future career, Laura also began to make a splash in the modeling industry.  Designers such as Oscar De La Renta, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Escada, Fendi and Dennis Basso began booking her for runway, and what started out as a way to make some extra cash quickly turned into an exciting career.

After college, Laura moved to Denver, Colorado to continue her modeling and television opportunities.  She landed the hosting position of the local entertainment show, Denver Live, thus catching the eye of The Media Group Inc (TMG).  Laura then became the face of TMG’s The Men’s Outdoors & Recreation Network, The Beauty & Fashion Channel and The Healthy Living Channel.  Wearing many hats for the company, she produced, wrote, hosted and sold the original programming created for these nets.  Laura also began collaborating with 28-Emmy Award Winner, Stephanie Riggs, on a reality show called Fitting In which focused on ad easing the obesity epidemic that stifles one out of every three kids in America.  At just 25 years old Laura was paving her way into the entertainment industry, but soon realized her career needed to take a bigger step. 

Laura moved to Los Angeles to further her
television career and live with [her now husband], Steve Cronin, goalkeeper of theLA Galaxy. In March of 2009 Steve was acquired by the Portland Timbers and spent the end of the MLS season with DC United.

On December 12, 2009 Laura & Steve married at TPC Summerlin in Las Vegas, NV. (more pics) They reside in Portland, OR.

Laura’s Professional Bio: 

 Whether it's the high fashion world on the red carpet or the danger and thrill in hunting wild game, Laura Kristi has done it all.  She is one of the fastest rising television hosts in the business with hit shows such as SOS and Bringing You the Best.  Laura has interviewed many of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities such as Tyson Ritter of The All-American Rejects, One Tree Hill’s Sofia Bush, Apl of the Black Eyed Peas and Kristin Cavalleri of The Hills just to name a few.

Just as she loves the glitz and the glam, Laura also enjoys the excitement of the outdoors and hosted the popular hunting show, SOS (Sportsmen's Outdoor Strategies).    Laura has also shared the screen with the popular outdoor enthusist Michael Waddell of Real Tree Road Trips.

Laura’s talents are not limited to only working on screen, behind the camera she works as a writer, producer and sales woman.  Her position within The Media Group as the Executive Producer for The Beauty & Fashion Channel and Associate Producer for The Men’s Outdoors & Recreation Network and The Healthy Living Channel allowed her to put each of these talents to work creating, producing, selling and hosting programs on a national platform.

Prior to Laura’s national success, she graduated from Colorado State University (2003) with a BA in Communications.  After graduation, she wasted no time landing a spot as a host on the weekly entertainment broadcast, WB2’s Denver Live where you could find her wining and dining at the finest restaurants, gossiping with the locals and hitting the dance floor at the scene’s hottest nightclubs. 

 Laura recently signed with Comcast Sportsnet Northwest as the host of a new reality series set to air March 2010.
